Motorola DROID Ultra adalah salah satu yang baru saja dirilis oleh Motorola. Kali ini Motorola merilis smartphonenya tiga sekaligus secara bersamaan. Versi yang lain adalah Motorola DROID Maxx dan Motorola DROID Mini. Memang ketenaran Motorola dulu pernah meredup. Namun setelah diakuisisi oleh Google kini Motorola semakin gencar memproduksi smartphone.
Motorola DROID Ultra dihadirkan dengan konsep dual-SIM GSM dan CDMA sehingga memberikan kenyamanan tersendiri kepada penggunanya. Kemampuan jaringannya juga sudah menggunakan teknologi 4G LTE sehingga akan memberikan kecepatan maksimal saat digunakan untuk browsing. Memang untuk tipe ini ditujukan untuk kelas menengah atas.
Sedangkan untuk performanya, smartphone ini sudah menggunakan prosesor Dual-Core yang mempunyai kecepatan hingga 1.7 GHz. Prosesor tersebut sudah tergolong paling canggih dikelasnya. Layar yang digunakan memiliki ukuran 5 inchi berjenis Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen beresolusi 720 x 1280 piksel yang dilindungi dengan teknologi Gorilla Glass.
